About The Rungajaun Tea 

The Rungajaun Tea Estate was established in the year 1962. Located in the Golaghat district of Assam, India,and is one of the oldest tea estates in the region. The estate spans 1,000 hectares of land. The estate has a reputation for producing a significant quantity of tea, with an annual yield of approximately 1 million kilograms. The Rungajaun Tea Estate boasts a lengthy and significant history. Vivek Anand Singhania is the present Managing Director of Rungajaun Tea Estate. He has held this position since 2008.

In the heart of Assam, lies the Rungajaun Tea Estate, a sprawling plantation that employs around 2,000 people. Most of the workers are from the local Assamese community, who have been tending to the tea bushes for generations. As the sun rises over the lush green fields, the workers begin their day, plucking the tender tea leaves with care and precision. For them, this is not just a job, but a way of life that has been passed down from their ancestors. The tea they produce is renowned for its rich flavour and aroma and is enjoyed by tea lovers around the world. At Rungajaun, the tea is not just a beverage, but a symbol of the community's heritage and hard work. The estate took great care of its employees.

The Rungajaun Tea Estate offers three different types of Assam chai: Eternal Assam Chai, Soulful Assam Chai, and Absolute Assam Chai. All three teas are made with 100% pure Assam black tea leaves and are known for their strong, malty flavor and rich aroma.
