About Rydak Syndicate Tea Estate

Rydak Syndicate Tea Estate is a family-owned and operated tea estate located in the foothills of the Darjeeling Hills in West Bengal, India. The estate was founded in 1898 by Mr Rydak Singh, who was a tea planter from Assam. Mr Singh was a visionary who saw the potential of the Darjeeling Hills for tea production, and he set out to create a tea estate that would produce the finest teas in India.

The company's name comes from the combination of two words: "rydak," which is a Bengali word for "tea," and "syndicate," which is a group of people working together for a common purpose. The company's motto is "Tea for the connoisseur," and it is committed to producing the finest quality tea for its customers.

Over the years, Rydak Syndicate Tea Estate has grown into one of the most respected tea estates in India. The estate is known for its high-quality teas, which are made from the finest leaves plucked by hand. Rydak Syndicate Limited has six tea estates covering a total area of 3,447 hectares in West Bengal and Assam and has a total tea manufacturing capacity of 7 million kg per year. The estates are:
