About Rydak Syndicate Tea Estate

Rydak Syndicate Tea Estate is a family-owned and operated tea estate located in the foothills of the Darjeeling Hills in West Bengal, India. The estate was founded in 1898 by Mr Rydak Singh, who was a tea planter from Assam. Mr Singh was a visionary who saw the potential of the Darjeeling Hills for tea production, and he set out to create a tea estate that would produce the finest teas in India.

The company's name comes from the combination of two words: "rydak," which is a Bengali word for "tea," and "syndicate," which is a group of people working together for a common purpose.
