The Tea N Teas gardens are situated in the Nilgiris mountains, located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. The nearest airport to the gardens is Coimbatore Airport, located approximately 100 kilometers away. You have the option to take a taxi or bus from the airport to the gardens.

 

Additionally, the gardens can be accessed by train. The closest train station to the gardens is Mettupalayam, located approximately 50 kilometers away. You have the option of taking a taxi or bus from the train station to reach the gardens.

Tea 'n' Teas is an extraordinary story of passion, dedication, and friendship that has thrived for decades in the captivating realm of tea. Thanks to the proactive support and involvement of dedicated tea professionals from three continents, we have achieved unprecedented international outreach. Their operations are based in a remote rural area in the Nilgiris.

Indi Khanna, the driving force behind Tea 'n' Teas, has dedicated the past 45 years of his life to immersing himself in the world of tea. He possesses extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of the tea industry, including nursery and field cultivation, manufacturing, blending, and international trade. This makes him a truly exceptional figure in the field. India is renowned for its optimistic nature and strong personality. He has made a significant impact in the Nilgiri Hills by introducing innovative techniques in tea production, resulting in the creation of exquisite artisanal teas that beautifully encapsulate the essence of the region. His extensive knowledge and experience have finally come together in the realization of his long-awaited dream project, The Tea Studio.

 

Muskan Khanna, with her talents from the media industry, has joined her father in this incredible venture and has dedicated herself to the world of tea. Muskan, who has been deeply engaged in learning from her father, has successfully embraced the challenge of leading a team of talented women from neighboring villages at The Tea Studio. With her creative flair and innovative thinking, she has successfully invented extraordinary teas, including the Green Nilgiri Bamboo, which is currently pending a patent in her name. Muskan is breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry and continuously pushing the boundaries higher and higher.

 

Raj Vable, an American-born graduate in electrical engineering with no previous tea experience, embarked on a bold and innovative idea that led to the creation of Young Mountain Tea. Raj's partnership with Tea 'n' Teas flourished after a fortuitous meeting with Indi and Muskan. They decided to focus on marketing and catering to the new generation of tea consumers, specifically targeting Millennials in the US.

 

Mike Jones, an experienced tea professional with a rich background in global tea trading, has been a close friend ever since our time together at Tea 'n' Teas in Dubai and Sri Lanka. Mike's extensive experience has been instrumental in successfully establishing a trading operation in Kenya and providing valuable support to Bellevue Tea, a family-run brand.

 

The team benefits greatly from the participation of Kevin Gascoyne, a devoted tea-taster and member of a team of tea experts associated with Camellia sinensis. This team also manages a comprehensive online tea store. Their friendship and shared passion for tea have led them to actively support Tea 'n' Teas, where they have become active partners in The Tea Studio.

 

Jane Pettigrew, a highly respected individual in the tea industry, has consistently provided valuable guidance and unwavering support to Tea 'n' Teas throughout the years. Her extensive experience and expertise in the industry have proven to be extremely valuable. Even though she is not currently an active member, her presence continues to inspire others.

Our teas, originating from the beautiful Nilgiris with its lush greenery, have successfully made their way to various parts of the world.
